The public results section allows breeders to access information on animals that have been GeneSTAR tested and have had their results authorised to be placed on the website. You can search by breed or specific marker results to gain a picture of where your cattle are in relation to others in the breed, or find the right bulls or females for your breeding herd. You can also view average breed frequencies by clicking 'Breed Frequencies' in the column to the left.
Please note that many samples will come up with some PR and NR results. This is because these samples will have been tested prior to the release of many of our current markers, and so have not been tested for the more recently released markers.
NR = No Result for a trait (In most cases the sample in question was not tested for that trait)
PR = Partial Result for that trait (meaning one or more markers for that trait have not been tested or have failed to obtain a result)
Results that do not show the individual marker breakdown (eg. M1=1) are for animals that have been tested for the GeneSTAR Commercial test, which does not give this information but is designed as a sorting/screening tool.
